So,
after sending home 30 pounds of paper products that I either took with
me or bought during RootsTech 2012 or made copies of those all important
finds in Salt Lake, I have come to the conclusion ........... The Cloud
could be my friend. I have a pain in my back from lugging my laptop,
papers, etc back and forth from the library, not anymore will I do
this. I refuse to take the laptop, I will be getting a tablet of some
kind that is user friendly and very light. I will be able to retreive
the needed data from a cloud. I am thrilled with what I learned at
RootsTech. If anyone out there is into Genealogy and Technology this
was the conference for you. I learned a bit about a lot of things, and
now need to educate myself on more. Kinda cool actually. I will be
taking more on the subjects I did learn about, but wanted to test the
water and see who out there did attend RootsTech2012 in Salt Lake City.
Thoughts...........................
Give me a shout out there and let me know what you use and what works
for you and what doesn't work. Learning from our peers is the only way
to go.
